SLIPSTRAVAGANZA BY STEPHEN WEST

In this sample, only the pale golden yellow is from Norne Yarn. It is a combination of Lace BFL/Silk and Lace Kid Silk held together, both in the colourway Irish Gold. The other yarns are from Nature’s Luxury (the palest pink is Legend of a Fall on On Stage Long Métrage), Skein Queen (darker pink, Antique Rose on Oasis Grande) and Uschitita (darker gold is Wild Honey on Merino Singles). I think this sample is a great example of how you don’t need to stick to one dyer, or even the same yarn base, for a project. Mixing and matching different styles and textures can create great results.
